December 23, 2011---Teams from LeChase Construction and Passero Associates battled it out to see who could “Do the Most Good” for the Salvation Army of Greater Rochester. The staff of LeChase Construction Services was entertained at their office Holiday Party today by executives from Passero Associates, at the conclusion of the firms’ competition against one another in the "Online Red Kettle" campaign.
Together, the firms raised $9,781.83. LeChase Construction raised the greater amount of funds, and, as part of the challenge, the partners of Passero Associates sang Christmas carols at the LeChase office.
Wayne Wegman, the President of Passero Associates, says, “Passero Associates has a long-standing relationship with the Salvation Army and is proud to support this fine organization in its efforts to do the most good in our community. We did hope to win this challenge, but we had a wonderful time singing carols for our friends at LeChase Construction.”
Chuck Armbruster of LeChase Construction says, “Rochester is blessed with wonderful organizations like the Salvation Army that do so much good. LeChase is committed to working with them to help make our community a better place to live. We were pleased to have Passero sing for us instead of having to sing for them!”

The November Salvation Army Advisory board meeting featured a brainstorming session to find new ways to raise funds for the Salvation Army this holiday season. Captains Randy and Marci Orr suggested an Online Red Kettle campaign between two local companies. LeChase Construction and Passero Associates, long-standing supporters of the Salvation Army, were suggested as possible contenders. Advisory board members Chris Passero of Passero Associates and Chuck Armbruster of LeChase Construction led their company teams.
